The In Mold Labeling Side Entry Robot is designed for high-speed in-mold labeling and removal of multi-cavity products. It features a mobile frame structure that can adapt to different mold thicknesses. The moving arm is constructed from carbon fiber, enabling a rapid in-mold time of just 0.7 seconds. Additionally, a variety of optional features are available to meet the needs of multi-cavity production, with capabilities up to 24 cavities.
The In Mold Labeling Side Entry Robot is a technology that directly empresses labels into injection molds. Its working principle and technological process are as follows:
Working principle
1. Label pre-positioning: Labels are taken out from the label library through an automated system (such as a mechanical hand) and precisely placed at the designated position on the mold.
2. Mold closure: The mold closes and the label is fixed on the inner wall of the mold.
3. Injection molding: Molten plastic is injected into the mold and closely combines with the label to form a product with a label.
4. Cooling and mold opening: After the plastic cools down, the mold opens, the finished product is ejected, and the label is firmly embedded in the product surface.
Technological process of In Mold Labeling Side Entry Robot
1. Label preparation:
- Label printing: Print patterns and text as required.
- Label cutting: Cut into the required shape and size according to specifications.
2. Label conveying:
- Label library: Stores pre-cut labels.
- Mechanical hand: Remove labels from the label library and feed them into the mold.
3. Mold positioning:
- Label placement: The mechanical hand precisely places the label on the inner wall of the mold.
- Label fixation: Fix the label by vacuum adsorption or electrostatic adsorption.
4. Injection molding:
- Mold closure: Ensure the label position is accurate.
- Plastic injection: Molten plastic is injected into the mold and combined with the label.
- Cooling and curing: The plastic cools down, and the label integrates with the product.
5. Mold opening and part removal:
- Mold opening: The mold is opened after cooling.
- Push out the finished product: The push out mechanism pushes out the finished product.
6. Post-processing:
- Quality inspection: Check the position and appearance of the labels.
- Packaging and warehousing: Qualified products are packaged and warehoused.
The In Mold Labeling Side Entry Robot achieves an efficient combination of labels and products through automated label conveying and precise injection molding. It is widely used in fields such as food, daily chemicals, and medicine to enhance the appearance of products and production efficiency.
