The IML Robot Side Entry For Plastic Cup can achieve high-speed side-flipping. It grabs the injection molded parts through vacuum suction cups, then flips the injection molded plastic cups in the horizontal direction to the vertical direction, and then stacks them to the designated positions. It is a typical automated production process, which greatly improves the production efficiency. It has reduced labor costs and decreased human errors.

1.Injection molding: Firstly, the plastic cup is formed through an injection molding machine. During this process, the raw materials of the paper cup are heated, melted and injected into the mold to form the desired shape of the paper cup.

2. Mechanical hand material picking: After injection molding, the high-speed side-picking mechanical hand enters the interior of the injection molding machine. Mechanical hands are usually equipped with vacuum suction cups or other types of grippers for stably grasping plastic cups.

3. Side retrieval and flipping: The mechanical hand utilizes its side retrieval function to take out plastic cups from the mold and performs high-speed side flipping during the retrieval process, flipping the plastic cups from the horizontal direction to the vertical direction.

4. Stacking placement: The flipped plastic cups are placed on the designated stacking brackets by the mechanical hand. During this process, the vacuum suction cups can be positioned to a certain extent through springs, without requiring high precision. The cost is controllable, and it can ensure that the plastic cups are neatly stacked, avoiding collapse or disorder.

5. Conveying and Packaging: The stacked plastic cups may then be conveyed to the next workstation for further processing or direct packaging.
